Back in November 2017, Deadmau5 told the vocalist Bo Mason that he would produce his entire album if he received one million plays on his song. After flooding users and his fans, Bo Mason accomplished this major feat, but Deadmau5 was nowhere to be found.
Just recently Deadmau5 explained the situation for everyone curious. Apparently, Bo Mason kept messaging and tweeting and getting his friends to tweet at Deadmau5. Then his friends would constantly retweet every statement mentioning Deadmau5.
Deadmau5 explains that is just became too much and “ultimately just repelled me from the whole idea.”
One fan put it, just because it's a tweet, doesn't mean it's a binding contract.
Well that explains things.
