Vancouver-born DJ Ekali has always been one to not only enjoy, but share the spotlight. His latest endeavor is the announcement his “Crystal Eyes” tour to promote his upcoming EP. The North American dates feature support from heavy hitters 1788-L and SLUMBERJACK. The post hit social media and fans are certainly chomping at the bit for tickets to go on sale.
Ekali has been busy the past few months. He blew the crowds away at EDC Las Vegas with three separate performances. He released two new collaborations, ‘Helios‘ with SLUMBERJACK, and ‘Blood Moon‘ with TYNAN and Hekler. He also found time to poke fun at elitist musical genre snobs in this comedic rant. Don’t fear – he also made fun himself all the same.
With his signature crossover dubstep, electro house, and trap, the support on his tour should complement him nicely. Ekali has always been a huge proponent for aspiring young talent, and this time he brings along 1788-L and SLUMBERJACK to showcase their massive sound.
Within the past two months, the stock for the mysterious 1788-L has gone through the ro. Following collaborations with Illenium and Blanke, he/she/they/it struck gold with “Space Mom” REZZ on the single ‘HEX.’ On the other side, hard trance specialist SLUMBERJACK has been on everyone’s radar for years. The Mad Decent duo has been wowing with productions and remixes at EDC Las Vegas and beyond. Their recent remix Vera Blue’s ‘Lady Powers‘ is an understated stormer.
