It was a standf for the ages in the 2018 World Cup semi-final match between France and Belgium. Although it was a close game with no goals in the first half, France managed to score in the 51st minute, which means that they are advancing to the World Cup final.
Considering both countries take their football very seriously, and both are world-class destinations for dance music, it makes sense that the dance music world would have some opinions on the final score.
One DJ that stands out amongst the rest when supporting his country is, course, DJ Snake. Not only is he always representing France at all his shows, but he is also a huge soccer fan.
In what we assume is just a joke, Mercer has claimed to leak DJ Snake’s new album if France wins the World Cup.
Of course, this probably won’t happen. However, if France does take the W, how cool would it be to celebrate a World Cup win with a full album from one the greatest DJ/Producers to ever call France home? Although little is known about this album, DJ Snake did reveal that the ‘Bodak Yellow‘ rapper, Cardi B will be featured on this album on Tuesday. The French artist also posted a video where Cardi B can be seen confirming her alliance with producer and Latin trap singer, Ozuna.
France will battle against the winner England vs. Croatia, which takes place today, Wednesday, July 11th, this coming Sunday in Moscow at 11:00 AM EST.
