The formidable duo of Ernesto Ferreyra and Guillaume Coutu Dumont have teamed up once again as Chic Miniature as they released their long awaited LP on Crosstown Rebels.
Having first worked together back in 2005, and with numerous singles and EPs under their belt since as well as a plethora of solo outings, this LP – ‘Ficción Futuro’ – has been in the making for over a decade. Over eight tracks, the pair deliver moment after moment of glorious melodic deep house and it’s all really quite irresistible.
‘Suki Ni’ is one of the album’s highlights and is a shimmering, spaced-out cut of laid back groove, testament to the infectious mood that carries through the whole record.
