Chicago Stalwart Felix Da Housecat has teamed up with Berlin-based Australian DJ/producer Kristin Velvet for a new EP by the name of ‘Cats Love Velvet’.
Set for release on 17th August on Arms & Legs, which Velvet runs alongside Daniel Steinberg and Nils Ohrmann, the EP is comprised of two killer house tracks that balance the hallmarks of both producers with superb skill and playful verve.
The B-Side, ‘It’s Hot’ – premiering below – is a rollicking house cut with an incendiary acid line, choppy vocal samples and a jackin’ rhythm.
