Returning after a year’s break, Leicester label City Fly are back with a brand new EP from co-founder Ashley Stevenson AKA The Last Trip To Gandahar.
The new EP, ‘Higher!’, finds the sample wizard – who used to produce as Arthur Jnr – taking his new moniker on a sophisticated summertime disco and house spin with three lush original cuts and a typically great remix of the title track by one Byron The Aquarius.
The original mix of the title track – premiering below – features a luxurious, absorbing vocal from Erik Rico, whose career has seen him writing and producing for the likes of Jurassic 5, Q-Tip, Jasmine Guy and Ron Trent.
