Ghostface Killah has enlisted Method Man, Nas, Raekwon, and many more to appear on his new album.
Slated for release on May 10th, 'Set the Tone (Guns & Roses)' will serve as the follow-up to the Wu-Tang Clan rapper's 2019 album, 'Ghostface Killahs'.
Other artists with guest spots on the 19-track release include Remy Ma, Fat Joe, Sheek Louch, Ja Rule, Busta Rhymes, Jim Jones, AZ, IceMan, Trevor Jacobs, and more.
Last May, Ghostface Killah, aka Dennis Coles, released a memoir chronicling the rapper’s childhood in Staten Island, his relationships with family and friends, the impact of crime and violence on his life, his experiences with fellow Wu-Tang Clan members, and more. Back in 2021, he also put out his unreleased ‘90s lyrics as NFTs.
The single 'Scar Tissue', featuring Nas and lifted from the forthcoming album, has already been released. Despite being heavyweights in New York hip-hop for decades, both rappers have only collaborated on two songs previously before.
They both featured on Raekwon’s 1995 album ‘Only Built 4 Cuban Linx...’ on the song ‘Verbal Intercourse.’ In October 2020, they both had verses on the track ‘The Mecca.’
