Sara Landry has released a new single in collaboration with Alex Farrell.
Titled 'Prisoner', it's the second cut to be unveiled from the hard techno star's forthcoming debut album, following ‘Heaven’ featuring ALT8. With full details still to come, the album will be released via her own HEKATE imprint.
'Prisoner' is said to have originated from a text that Landry sent to Farrell when he touched down in her base of Amsterdam late last year. The two immediately entered the studio and decided to work with complete spontaneity, and it was completed by the time Farrell played at techno rave Verknipt that night, where he worked the song into his set.
Speaking about the track, Landry said: “Alex is one of my favourite producers right now and a regular on HEKATE, so when it came to deciding which artists I wanted to work with on my upcoming collab album, it was a no brainer to cook something up with him. 'Prisoner’ is a peak set thumping banger and it has torn the roof off some of the clubs I've played at recently. You can really hear both mine and Alex's production styles in this one. It is the ideal follow up track to 'Heaven' to show the vibe of what to expect from the rest of the album."
