Tomorrowland’s immersive experience will open in Madrid this October.
The immersive audio-visual experience, open to all ages, will open its doors 25th October at the WiZink Center. According to a press release, the experience will be a “new way to explore” the various themes in the 20-year history of Tomorrowland, including The Story of Planaxis, The Book of Wisdom, The Elixir of Life, and many more.
The experience will not only incorporate the World's No.1 festival’s past but will also feature several digital installations that allow visitors to use VR to “explore some of Tomorrowland’s key features, values, and objects.”
At the end of the experience, there will be a shop where guests can purchase a "selection of Tomorrowland items and gadgets."
The project follows the launch of a similar immersive VR exhibition by Tomorrowland in Barcelona last year. The exhibition ran from December to March and attracted over 40,000 visitors.
The experience was created and developed by the Tomorrowland and XR Music Hub teams, which were formed by Layers of Reality and Blanco y Negro Music.
Speaking about the news, Jordi Sellas, Artistic Director of Layers of Reality, said: “Bringing the Tomorrowland Immersive Experience to Madrid has been a milestone in our scalability plans. Especially given Madrid's vibrant cultural and entertainment scene, the Tomorrowland Immersive Experience stands out as one of the best immersive experiences available today.”
In other Tomorrowland-related news, earlier this week, Tomorrowland Winter revealed more details about its 2025 edition, set to take place next March in the Alps. Additionally, last month, Tomorrowland announced the lineup for the Freedom Stage at its 2024 Brazil edition, which includes Agents Of Time, Anfisa Letyago, Boris Brejcha, and Reinier Zonneveld.
