Amsterdam Dance Event [ADE] has added a host of new names to its conference programme, which runs alongside the festival from Wednesday 16th to Sunday 20th October.
Amelie Lens and Charlotte de Witte are set to speak about their new collaborative efforts for the first time, while Marlon Hoffstadt, AKA Daddy Trance, will take attendees of his ADE Pro panel on a deep dive into his eurodance-techno sound and his forthcoming album, 'Daddycation'.
Elsewhere, Reinier Zonneveld is set to discuss the process of creating and curating his own festival, R², and bringing AI into live music by playing b2b with himself, while Kölsch hosts a conversation with Dave Clarke. Audiences will get an insight into the roots and early career years of the UK-born, Netherlands-based techno heavyweight, who is also exhibiting photography during ADE. 'In The Shutter Light' will run for the duration of the four day festival at The Leica Gallery, Leica Store, Museum Square, Amsterdam, and showcase his architectural and landscape images.
Elsehwere, Carl Craig, DESIREE, Chelsea Odufu and Major League DJz will explore the respective evolutions of techno and amapiano.
This year's ADE programme features more than 3,000 artists appearing in 200 venues, with thousands of concerts, club nights, parties and full-scale festivals making up the city-wide gathering. Recent announcements include the return of DJ Bone's fundraising session, Homeless Homies. A second line-up reveal earlier this month featured Kerri Chandler, Amelie Lens, Sara Landry, Martin Garrix, Charlie Sparks, Danielle, Effy, Jane Fitz, and Elkka Meanwhile, Tomorrowland has confirmed plans to celebrate its 20th birthday with a special event and secret lineup at Ziggo Dome.
