A new documentary on the legendary New York City-based record label King Street Sounds is set to premiere later this month.
House Music Royalty: The Story Of King Street Sounds is a joint production by Beatport Films and Armada Music and explores the house music label's more than three decades of operations. It looks at the imprint's founding by Hisanao Ishioka in 1993, and the influence it had on house music trends through the '90s.
DJ Spinna, Barbara Tucker and Ultra Naté are among the figures who give their insights into the label's history across the 35-minute film, which will premiere online on 14th November.
