Marie Davidson has shared a new track, titled 'Demolition'.
Made in collaboration with Soulwax and Pierre Guerineau, it's the fourth song to be released from forthcoming album 'City Of Clowns', which Davidson announced last month with the unveiling of lead cut 'Sexy Clown'.
Built around a chugging electro beat, 'Demolition' finds Davidson's sound firmly in the club, much like the rest of 'City Of Clowns'. The album is set for release via Soulwax's DEEWEE label on 28th February.
'City Of Clowns' sees Davidson revisiting the techno and spoken-word delivery of her 2018 album 'Working Class Woman', while incorporating the melodic sensibilities of her 2020 release, 'Renegade Breakdown'.
"It's definitely linking back to what I was doing pre-pandemic, but with a bit of an evolution," Davidson said previously of the record. "I didn't want to just repeat myself."
