FKA twigs has released her third studio album, 'EUSEXUA'.
The long-awaited follow-up to 2019 LP 'MAGDALENE', and 2023 mixtape 'CAPRISONGS', is out today (Friday, 24th January) following months of teaser singles, including the title cut, 'Perfect Stranger' and 'Drums Of Death'.
Released via twigs' long-time label home of Young Recordings, the album takes its name from a word that twigs created, which is a portmanteau of 'sex' and 'euphoria'. The record takes inspiration from late nights at techno clubs in Prague while the artist was in the city shooting scenes for the film The Crow.
"Eusexua is a state of being," twigs previously said in a press statement. "A feeling of momentary transcendence often evoked by music, art, sex and unity. Eusexua can be followed by a state of bliss and feelings of limitless possibility."
The album takes in production from Koreless, Eartheater, Sasha Stargate and twigs herself, while Eartheater and Nicolás Jaar are also among the acts who have writing credits. North West, the daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, appears as a featured artist on the track 'Childlike Things'.

To mark the release of the album, twigs has also announced a 10-date European and North American tour, which will see her visit cities such as Berlin, Paris, London, Chicago, Toronto and New York this March and April.
