aya has shared details of her second album, titled 'hexed!'
Due for release on Friday, 28th March, the 10-track record "confronts the desperation and dysfunction of addiction", according to a press release. It marks aya's return to Hyperdub after debuting on the label with 2021 LP 'im hole'.
Writing on Instagram, the UK artist described 'hexed!' "as a very very hard record to make".
To mark the announcement of the album, she's shared lead single 'off to the ESSO', which you can listen to below.
'hexed!' is aya's first record since last year's YCO-released 'Lip Flip' EP, from which DJ Mag premiered the Ecko Bazz collaboration 'Essente!' last February.
