Sonique announces ‘Hear My Cry’ 25th anniversary tour with live band

Sonique is celebrating 25 years of her debut album 'Hear My Cry' with a live UK tour this year.

The iconic British singer and DJ, famous for the now-classic single 'It Feels So Good' that opens 'Hear My Cry', will visit 10 cities in the UK to perform the LP in full with a live band for the first time. The tour will kick off on 3rd October at Newcastle venue Boiler Shop, followed by stops in Manchester, Bristol, Norwich, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh and London throughout the month. The final show will take place at Brighton's Chalk on 1st November.

"'It feels so good’ to be back!", Sonique wrote on Instagram last week while teasing the tour announcement.

Sonique last released an album in 2011 called 'Sweet Vibrations', and has been releasing collaborative singles, with the likes of Dario G, Ramiro, Johnny Gerontakis and Power of Muzik, and performing at festivals in the years since.

In 2023, Sonique sat down with DJ Mag to share exclusive insight into how the enduring dance hit, initially released in 1998, got made. Watch the video here.
