Orbital release ‘The Brown Album’ vinyl, CD and cassette anniversary reissue

Orbital have reissued their classic second album, known as 'The Brown Album'.

Out on CD, vinyl and cassette, as well as digital platforms, the expanded reissue takes in the full original album, as well as additional remixes, live recordings and other bonus cuts. The vinyl editions have been cut at half-speed for maximum audio fidelity.

The album was originally released in 1993 and went to No. 28 in the UK charts. The reissue is available in a 4xLP box set and 4xCD box set, with both versions featuring 32 tracks. There are also more stripped-back 2xLP, 2xCD and cassette editions.

To mark the announcement of the reissue last month, the duo shared 'Deepest', a rework of their 1989 track 'Deeper' that features vocals from Tilda Swinton. The iconic actor performed the track with Orbital during their Glastonbury performance last year. Back in 1996, Swinton featured in the video for Orbital's track 'The Box'.

Last year, Orbital released a reissue of their 1991 debut 'The Green Album', ahead of a tour highlighting their first two self-titled LPs.

Earlier this month, the duo released a collaboration with Confidence Man, 'Re-lush'.
