In the world music streaming giants, companies are always looking for the best way to fer a competitive edge against their competitors, and this time it looks like Pandora is looking to fer a new plan to do just that.
The company has announced that it is looking to bring in a brand new family plan that would help it compete with the likes similar plans fered by Spotify & Apple Music. The new premium family plan would be priced at $15 a month as opposed to it’s single user premium plan which is priced at $10 a month.
The plan much like Apple Music‘s would allow up to 6 users to enjoy the various premium features many Pandora users enjoy as opposed to Spotify‘s five user limit. Each user would have to create their own account which would them allow them to have their own custom radio stations and playlists, the ability to download music for fline listening and access to uninterrupted high-quality audio.
This new deal is Pandora‘s latest attempt at trying to convert some its 80 million monthly free listeners to paid subscribers. With it’s late introduction it’s premium service last march after acquiring key assets from Rdio, it seems that it still has a long way to go to catch up with the likes Spotify.
