New tax means Aussies will be paying more for Discogs orders

Bad news wax heads, you’re gonna be paying more for international orders on Discogs moving forward.

This wet-blanket a topic comes courtesy the good ol’ Aussie government, with the Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) on international orders now added on any international purchase, not just orders over $1000AUD like previously. Rough.

Unfortunately, the tax has already kicked f, launching on the first day the new financial year, July 1st. So what does this mean for vinyl buyers and Discogs? Well, as reported by , international Discogs orders for Aussies will have an additional 10% on the total price. This is added on top an 8% sellers fee which is already in place.

The cons living at the bottom the Earth, right?
