It’s been a little while since we’ve heard anything from Byron Bay four-piece Tora, but they are back in a big way with the release their shiny new single Wouldn’t Be The Same featuring Brissy soloist Keelan Mak.
The track dropped on Friday and in following on from their first album Take a Rest, the boys once again flex their indie-electronica muscle with this dreamy slow burner. This piece is slick, sprawling and rich in the trademark layers and tones we’ve learned to love on hits like Eat the Sun and Jaigantic.
In previous ventures Tora have covered vocals themselves, but Keelan’s help on this track stands out while also moulding effortlessly into Tora’s plush and vibrant aesthetic.
Check the track below and let us know what you think!
