Much Odesza’s second album, – nay, their previous two albums – carried with it a peaceable and unobtrusive vibe. The sound was brilliant and melodic, by no means actually pushing any sense darkness or impending doom. Well, Golden Features is right here to alter that.
Taking Odesza’s tune “Falls” with Sasha Sloan, Golden Features creates a terrifying and foreboding musical environment. Admittedly, not a lot the unique made it by the remix apart from some recognizable vocal chops and a slight adherence to the unique melody; although, the rhythm is completely redone.
Calling this a remix is truthfully placing it frivolously; that is nearer to a whole reimagining, not that we care. We’re all about this sound and love every part Golden Features has achieved this 12 months. Check out his album .
