It’s high-quality to take inspiration from different sources each every so often — in reality, in a world the place creating one thing wholly authentic is mainly unimaginable and individuals are uncovered to extra media than they notice, making one thing much like one thing else is just about inevitable. However, sure precautions should be taken to be sure that inspiration doesn’t cross the road into straight up ripping an idea.
Apashe’s music video for “Majesty,” from his Requiem EP, is a drug-fueled journey following a predominant character and others using horses in streetwear within the wilderness. Calvin Harris simply launched the music video for his collaboration with Rag ‘N’ Bone Man, “Giant.” And whereas the bulk the video is in an city setting, the scenes depicting horses and extensive open fields are similar to Apashe’s video.
Really @CalvinHarris ? I do know you’re getting outdated and unoriginal, however did it's important to copy my music video?! That’s simply fucking lame. pic.twitter.com/3kajjIa8Vj

Calvin responded to the decision out, linking to a VICE article on the Dublin teenage horse thugs, “Check the ref from 2014 and cease insulting legends.” It’s unclear if he’s referring to himself as a legend right here or the Dublin horse thugs.

Regardless any inspiration, the colour schemes, digital camera angles/motion are all related. Story is identical as mine (minus the humor), the character surroundings is an identical AND totally different from the supply you linked which has horses in cities. Not certain which legend you’re referring to ?
