Well, Day 2 Ultra Music Festival is a wrap and what a day it was. The live stream was a full hour longer on Day 2 to afford for Martin Garrix’s full headlining set in addition to the worldwide debut Deadmau5’s Cube 3.0 which was presented with a delay.
NGHTMRE and Slander brought out Shaq and Lil Jon, and then NGHTMRE rushed over to the live stage to debut the first performance Gigantic NGHTMRE, his collaboration with Big Gigantic. Illenium absolutely murdered the live stage, and Zedd brought his digestible pop/EDM combo to the main stage. Armin van Buuren also proved why he’s been booked at Ultra every year since 2008 with a set for the ages.
Martin Garrix, however, completely stole the show closing out the main stage on Day 2 with his incredible ANIMA production and loads upon loads new IDs both from himself and others on STMPD RCRDS.
