A$AP Rocky has been arrested and is currently being held in Stockholm, Sweden for suspected assault after a street fight erupted between his entourage and two men.
Plenty video footage has surfaced the incident, during which A$AP and his crew come f as the peacemakers through much the conflict. The two strangers were said to have been following A$AP’s crew around and one reportedly broke a pair headphones when striking his bodyguard over the head.
A$AP and his posse hit their breaking point when a woman accused the same random men groping her and her friend. Ultimately, A$AP attacked, throwing one man down, and punching and kicking him repeatedly. However, there are multiple videos that also show the two men antagonizing them prior to the street fight.
A$AP has released videos his own social media. In one post, he describes the men as “drug addicts.”
“We don’t know these guys and we didn’t want trouble,” A$AP said. “…they followed us for 4 blocks, and they were slapping girls butts who passed. Give me a break.”
Stockholm police could potentially hold A$AP for up to three days as prosecutors decide whether or not to charge the rapper. If they move forward, he faces up to 6 years in prison.
