Wolfgang Gartner is taking it back to his house roots with a new remix for Bobby D’Ambrosio‘s classic club track “So Thankful.” Originally released in 2003, the producer now revives the single with serious dance floor fever.
Out nowhere, Joey Youngman has emerged, which just so happens to be Wolfgang’s real name. Working under this new alias, he reveals the project’s first release with a lot love attached. It’s all about house music, and it’s all about just being himself.
“So Thankful” is stripped back from any distractions baring a soulful, infectious energy that takes over the track. It has all the traditional makings a house classic, expertly boosted with rich textures and more punch than ever before. The smooth, groovy nature the track is not only still relevant, but thriving.
“House music is what I grew up on,” Youngman explains, “and how I got my start.”
He continues, “this alias exists purely to feed my soul.”
It is with a lot love that I present to you the first release my new alias project; Joey Youngman. (that’s right, my “alias” is my real name). House Music is what i grew up on and how I got my start: this alias exists purely to feed my soul. SPOTIFY:https://t.co/grmb6pMrBW
