Today we have some more year-end lists coming in from Apple Music and Shazam. Both services share their most streamed artists, albums and songs 2019.
Hits by Lil Nas X, Billie Eilish, and Post Malone, Ariana Grande, and more are among the most streamed songs the year. In addition, Billie Eilish’s debut studio album WHEN WE FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? is the most streamed the year on Apple Music — a huge indicator its success.
As far as EDM goes, we’re surprised to not see more appearances in these top streamed categories from Apple Music and Shazam — but there’s still some love in there.
Calvin Harris and Rag’n’Bone Man have the 10th most Shazamed song the year with their collaboration “Giant.” Khalid and Disclosure have the most Shazamed R&B/Soul track with “Talk.” Finally, David Guetta contributes to J Balvin‘s 2019 takeover with their collab with Bebe Rexha, “Say My Name.”
