Amazon Music Massively Upgrades Its Streaming Catalogue With New Partnership

Amazon Music HD just upgraded.

A new partnership with Dolby Atmos now includes the entire and quite massive catalog Warner Music Group. Available for streaming on Amazon Music HD.

Dolby’s Senior Vice President Commercial Partnerships, John Couling said the new initiative:

Artists are excited to work in Dolby Atmos because it enables them to produce their music in a more personal, authentic, and immersive way. Warner Music Group is an important partner helping us push the industry forward by bringing Dolby Atmos to its legendary catalog.

Dolby Atmos technology also improves listening quality and experience, which is obviously a key factor with HD streaming. It allows users to “discover hidden details and subtleties with unparalleled clarity.”

Only time will tell if other services (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, etc.) will follow Amazon’s lead with HD streaming.
