Andy C and Becky Hill have shared a new collaborative single, ‘Indestructible’. Check it out below.
The track – released on Friday, 29th August – has been a fixture in both artist’s summer sets, combining soulful pop vocals with big bass lines and crunching breaks. Though the duo met for the first time over a decade ago, ‘Indestructible’ marks the first time they have officially collaborated on a track.
Speaking on the link-up, Hill shared: “Andy C has always been a hero of mine! He was one of my guests for my podcast, The Art Of Rave, and is one of the drum & bass greats who was still on my hit list to work with. Well now, I finally have a tune with him and it’s massive. I wrote this record when I was 21 and Andy sent it back to me 9 years later! I’m very excited for this one to come out, especially with the one & only Executioner!!!”
“It’s an honour to finally work on a tune with Becky,” Andy C added. “Her incredible voice and lyrics convey the feeling of unity in our scene... it sums up my relationship with DnB, how popular the genre is right now as well as how huge Becky’s career is. It’s just so magical. This has been a huge part of my set over the last 12 months and the amount of messages I get for it are insane! I’m so proud that Becky and I are finally seeing it released to the world!”
The single follows Hill’s second album ‘Believe Me Now?’, released in May, which reached No. 3 in the UK’s official album chart. Next month, she’ll embark on her biggest UK arena tour to date, featuring a stop at the OVO Arena Wembley. Remaining tickets are available here.
Following a huge set at Chase & Status’ MK bowl all-dayer last month, Andy C will bring his ALIVE 3.0 show concept to DRUMSHEDS on 8th November. He’ll be joined by a bill of special guests TBC.
