Armin van Buuren has remixed Camisra’s ’90s rave classic ‘Let Me Show You’. Listen to it below.
Out today on Armada Music, the Dutch heavyweight’s rework preserves the core elements of the track – originally released in 1998 – with the addition of intensified vocals and deeper bass cuts. van Buuren’s version was first heard at Tomorrowland Winter back in February, and has been described by the DJ and producer as a “revival” rather than a “rework”.
“Sometimes, to move forward, you need to look back,” van Buuren added in press material. “The original has so much character—I just wanted to enhance what was already there and make it feel fresh for my sets. It’s been a summer anthem.”
‘Let Me Show You’ was originally released 25 years ago by Camisra, an alias of ‘Tall’ Paul Newman, and quickly soared into the top 5 of the UK charts. The original has continued to be a staple in DJ sets from the likes of James Hype, Jax Jones and Solomun.
