Tomorrowland 2019 just celebrated the first weekend its 15th anniversary event in Boom, Belgium. Of course, with any large-scale festival such as this, there’s bound to be some arrests in the mix — and the numbers are in.

Tomorrowland’s weekend one reportedly saw 24 drug dealer arrests, compared to 63 total over both weekends last year. Police intercepted 820 ecstasy tablets (75 them fake), 198 grams MDMA, 153 grams ketamine, 139 grams cocaine and nine grams cannabis.

Additionally, 231 visitors were caught for possession and/or use drugs, according to the public prosecutor’s statement. In these cases, fenders were fined, their wristbands cut, and their drugs confiscated.

Finally, a total 48 revelers were detained by police for various other reasons. There were also 42 people who were caught trying to enter Tomorrowland without a valid ticket.

To put this in perspective, Tomorrowland sees the attendance 400,000 people each year. Or, 200,000 per weekend.

We’ll be sure to update once weekend two wraps.
