Avicii Goes #1 for the First Time In 5 Years

Avicii has achieved his first posthumous No. 1 with “SOS” featuring Aloe Blacc. The song just recently made its way to the top Billboard‘s Dance Club Songs chart, dated for July 6, 2019.


The leading track from Avicii’s latest album TIM has also appeared on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay at No. 1, Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs at No. 2, Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales at No. 3 and the iconic Hot Dance/Electronic Songs at No. 6.

This is the 7th time the producer has achieved No. 1 status on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart. The first was for his hit “Collide” with Leona Lewis, before “Levels” took over soon after in 2011.
