We are entering another golden age house music. While the focus many producers throughout the late 2000's and early 2010's was electro and big room bangers, fans have once again come around to appreciating the more subtle genres. Labels like CONFESSION and Dirtybird have led the charge reintroducing quality house music to the masses, and with its revival, many new artists have stepped up to the plate to demonstrate their skills set.
An artist new on the scene with an air mystery is Bonez. With only one release on his Spotify catalog, this masked entity is working to redefine house music by refocusing it on the golden era production. In his first release, ‘Iltwyd' Bonez features elements instantly recognizable to that the brilliant productions the early late 90's and early 2000's.
Scratching, industrial grade grooves are laid down as this gem develops over the course three and a half minutes. It is a serious little record that has not garnered near the amount attention it deserves. Check it out below and stayed tuned because it seems that Bonez is just getting started. His debut EP is due out by the end the year.
