Demi Lovato, who has experienced difficulties with drugs in the past, has reportedly been rushed to a Los Angeles hospital following an apparent heroin overdose.
First reported by TMZ, authorities responded to an emergency call this morning on the 8000 block Laurel View Drive in the Hollywood Hills for a female victim a possible overdose. Unnamed sources apparently confirmed to TMZ that the victim was Demi Lovato.
Los Angeles police department spokesman Raymond Brown declined to name the individual who was transported to a local hospital.
Lovato just released a song this summer called “Sober,” in which she details experience with withdrawal and possibly relapsing, and featured on “Solo” with Clean Bandit in June.
Lovato went to rehab for the first time in 2010.
