American rapper and singer Mac Miller was found dead an apparent overdose in his California home Friday afternoon.
TMZ reports a friend the artist placed a 911 call from inside the home, and when authorities arrived on scene he was pronounced dead.
Miller was known for past drug abuse, which lead to his breakup with popstar Ariana Grande. His music had plenty references to drugs and abuse.
Preparing to start for a tour in the next month, Mac Miller held an interview with Vulture, where he stated:
