Last week, allegations on Twitter arose accusing Moonboy multiple instances sexual misconduct, including sex with a minor and continuing to have sex with a partner after she fell asleep. In the wake these allegations, Moonboy’s management, Loko Entertainment, dropped him as a client.
Since then, Moonboy has been silent on social media. Finally, today, he has posted multiple videos on Instagram speaking out about the allegations and their alleged veracity.
With regards to having sex with a minor, the videos shared to social media were clipped from an original video with his 18-year-old girlfriend to give the impression an act more sexual than it really was.
With regards to the accusation that he continued having sex with a partner after she fell asleep and recorded it, Moonboy says it is a lie. “I’m not gonna try to understand why she’s saying this, I’m just gonna state the facts. I would never have sex or do anything to anyone who was sleeping or wasn’t able to consent in any way. This goes against me as a person, my morals, it goes against everything I stand for.”
Moving forward, Moonboy is cancelling all shows “until I get to the right mental space. Just please give me time.”
