Calvin Harris has had a banner year in 2019 so far, after jumping back on the festival circuit and releasing some huge singles like “Giant” and a re-release his 2009 hit, “I’m Not Alone.” But as we approach the end the year, he’s just dropped a surprise new tune, exclusively on SoundCloud.
Entitled “Peace Love Happiness v3,” it wouldn’t be a far reach to assume this was a demo that was accidentally made public. But as it’s been up for nearly a full day now, at time publishing, that line thought is probably unlikely. The tune is a pounding four-on-the-floor house tune that proves with all the high-end studios and Las Vegas clubs that Harris is known for, he’s still just as in tune with the underground as ever.
As Harris’ presence is far more heavily pushed on Spotify than SoundCloud, the single has has only just over 3,000 plays almost 17 hours after going public. That being said, all the comments on the track are largely positive, and we have to agree. This bangs.
