Calvin Harris Isn't The Highest Paid DJ Anymore, But He's Still The Richest

Earlier this month, Forbes revealed its 2019 list for 100 Highest-Paid Entertainers in the world, with only three electronic artists making the list: The Chainsmokers, Marshmello, & Calvin Harris.

However, contrary to past years, Calvin Harris wasn’t at the top. In recent months, The Chainsmokers and Marshmello have overtaken him as the highest-paid electronic artists, raking in $46M and $40M respectively in 2019 so far, with Calvin Harris not far behind at $38.5M.

But earnings are only half the picture. While TCS and Mello are getting paid more now, Harris is still the richest DJ in the world.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Harris is worth a cool $240 million after his years shows, music sales, and endorsements. As for Marshmello, even the site itself admits it needs to update its metrics. “Marshmello earned $40 million in 2019 and has a net worth $40 million – we should probably recalculate that,” it reads.

Lastly, The Chainsmokers’ Drew Taggart and Alex Pall each have a net worth $22 million for a combined $44 million.
