CASISDEAD has dropped his debut album, ‘Famous Last Words’, via XL. Check it out below.
The 23-track LP is described as a “fully realised expansion of the dystopian future” that has been a defining characteristic of the Tottenham rapper and producer's sound since 2013.
The album features a number of collaborators including Pet Shop Boys' Neil Tennant, singer Connie Constance, and grime artist Kamio, along with a notable production cast that includes Stranger Things composer Kyle Dixon, and Italians Do It Better label founder, Johnny Jewel.
'Famous Last Words' follows the release of the track 'Venom' earlier this month, which is included on the LP and was also released with an accompanying self-directed video by CASISDEAD. The album also features several singles that were recently released, including 'Matte Grey Wrap,' featuring Megan Louise and Johnny Jewel as Desire.
CASISDEAD will play a number of sold-out shows next week in support of the album, including instore Rough Trade Nottingham on 29th October, outstore at Strange Brew Rough Trade Bristol on 30th October, instore at Rough Trade East on 31st October, and KOKO, London, on 2nd November.
He will also play the recently announced date at Wardrobe, Leeds, on 21st November – limited tickets for the show are available here.
