Ciel and D. Tiffany are back with their second release under their Psychedelic Budz alias. Titled ‘Wonk Donk’, it will be released via Banoffee Pies Records next month.
The new release includes two tracks, ‘Vokal Fry’ and ‘Wonk Donk’, the latter of which features Adam Pits and Lil Mushroom.
Taking to Instagram to announce the release, Ciel explained that the EP was inspired by the feeling of emergence from lockdown after the pandemic, and the rush of excitement she felt reconnecting with the friends she hadn’t seen in a long time. “We made it that magical summer of 2022 when I returned to Berlin for the 1st time since Feb 2020 post pandemic lockdowns... The excitement of seeing each other after soooo long apart really sparked something special.”
‘Wonk Donk’ is the second Psychedelic Budz release following 2020’s ‘Faerie Stomp’, which included remixes Ludwig A.F. and Adam Pits. Ahead of its release 15th November, you can pre-order the EP here.
