Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and Stagecoach have ficially been postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak. The world-famous event confirmed on social media that the were true. According to the statement:
“At the direction the County Riverside and local health authorities, we must sadly confirm the rescheduling Coachella and Stagecoach due to COVID-19 concerns. While this decision comes at a time universal uncertainty, we take the safety and health our guests, staff, and community very seriously. We urge everyone to follow the guidelines and protocols put forth by public health ficials.”
This year's Coachella will now be taking place for two consecutive weekends on October 9, 10, and 11 and October 16, 17, and 18, 2020. Stagecoach will take place the week after on October 23, 24, and 25. If you purchased passes to attend the April events, you will be able to use them for the October dates. However, if you are unable to attend, you will be notified by March 13th on how to receive a refund.
