Deadmau5 has a brand new track incoming, ‘A Seed’, and the rodent-headed producer has used the aftermovie to the only U.S. dates on his current 'lots of shows in a row pt 2' tour to offer fans a taste of what's about to drop.
On 19th and 20th October, the artist, whose achievements this year include getting married and spending $15,000 on a 'rare' bottle of McDonalds szechuan sauce, played one of America's most iconic venues, the majestic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, where he appeared alongside familiar faces from his Mou5trap label, No Mana and BlackGummy.
Understandably, given the location, the resulting footage is impressive to watch, but it's the soundtrack that has attracted the most attention. Opening with two minutes of Deadmau5's collaboration with Manchester, UK MC Shotty Horroh, 'Legendary', the second half of the clip features a sample of the new material, 'A Seed'.
It's not clear whether this will feature on his new album, which we reported on last month, but take a look and a listen below.
