Dimitri Vegas is set to officially release his surprise vinyl-only set from this year’s Tomorrowland festival in Belgium.
The performance, which was one of several surprise sets to take place on The Gathering stage at the beginning of the World’s No.1 Festival’s second weekend, saw the EDM star spin more hardcore and techno style records, as well as some of his own remixes and collaborations. Tracks included Byorn's 'Adagio For String', Cherrymoon Trax and DJ Ghost's 'Needle Destruction', Tranceball's 'Calyptus', Thunderball's 'Bonzai Channel One (Creeds Remix)' and Age Of Love’s ‘Age Of Love.
Last week, he posted a video snippet of the performance on social media, asking his followers to "drop a comment if you want me to release the full live recording”. According to a pre-order page on music retailer Juno, not only will the full recording be released soon, it will also be available for purchase on vinyl and CD from 6th December.
Later that same weekend, Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike and Bassjackers dropped their own version of Crazy Frog’s ‘Axel F’ on the Tomorrowland Mainstage. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike were voted No.3 in this year’s DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll.
