Diplo is “convinced” Drake “hates” him after the hip hop superstar unfollowed him on social media.
Diplo’s team recently made this discovery when doing a deep dive on Twitter and Instagram. The DJ/producer believes it may have something to do with the time he brought up the rapper’s formerly secret son, Adonis, in a since-deleted tweet.
“I can’t remember exactly what it was,” Diplo explained to Metro UK, “but it was super funny.”
He recalls it being something about Adonis joining the band Brockhampton. However, we were unable to find any evidence this tweet.
Diplo has since pleaded with Drake, “Come back, dude! I miss us! I miss us!”
Back in 2017, Diplo revealed that he and Drake recorded a demo collab. It may never see the light day — especially given these circumstances.
At the time, he said, “I’m always down for Drake. He’s like one my favorite current artists right now.”
