DJ Haram has announced her debut album, 'Beside Myself'.
Marking her third full release for Hyperdub, after 2019's 'Grace' and 2023's 'Handplay', the 14-track record features guest contributions from Moor Mother, Armand Hammer, Bbymutha and El Kontessa, among others.
The album explores themes of rage and grief, as well as a feeling of being out of step with the world, according to a press release. It also takes in vocals based on words written by the likes of Audre Lorde and Nawal El Saadawi.
'Beside Myself' will be released on Friday, 18th July. You can listen to lead track 'Voyeur' below.
DJ Haram's only previous full-length release for Hyperdub came as part of her 700 Bliss project with Moor Mother in 2022.
