DJ Premier and Roc Marciano have shared a new track.
'Prayer Hands' is taken from the forthcoming joint project by the longstanding hip-hop artists, 'The Coldest Profession', which is out on 8th August via TTT.
Speaking about the project, Premier said: “Roc always makes sure to never go in the direction of the expected types. He brags, without bragging. He shows off, without showing off.”
“If that does not make sense, then you’re not what we want in our league of pure style. That’s the definition of ‘Prayer Hands.’ Explanations are not needed", he added.
In 2019, DJ Premier revived the seminal Gang Starr project — originally a duo featuring himself and the late rapper Guru, who died in 2010 — releasing the act's first new music in more than 16 years.
