Have you ever been feeling down on your luck and needed some encouragement? It happens to all us, including world class producers like Don Diablo. It’s easy to get caught up in the daily grind and lose sight the bigger picture. Thankfully, Don has come up with the perfect track to combat those feelings doubt. “Congratulations” with Brando is a slick and sultry pop/R&B/house tune that showcases Don’s production talents. This is much more a radio or club track than the Hexagon head-honcho’s usual festival-ready fare.
Dance music fans probably recognize Brando from his vocals on Loud Luxury’s smash hit “Body.” He brings that same emotional and deep feel to this song that helped make “Body” such a huge hit. From the rhythmic bassline, powerful vocals, crisp and clean production work, not only is this an immaculate club jam, it’s also perfect for throwing on the radio too. Although the track doesn’t have those usual high flying Don Diablo synths, you can definitely still feel his imprint on this wonderful track.

“I wrote ‘Congratulations’ in a moment reflection while I was recording parts my upcoming ‘FOREVER’ album in Los Angeles. Most my life, I have been working every single day towards an invisible goal that sometimes seems unreachable. There are days when nothing you do seems good enough and the weight on your shoulders gets heavier and heavier. Sometimes you need to look at your life from a helicopter view so you can see all the amazing things that have happened in your past. It will make you enjoy your future even more. This song is about congratulating yourself, which, in essence, is something you should be doing as ten as you can. I am super excited I got to work on the song with the supremely talented Brando, whose vocals are the perfect fit for the story I wanted to tell.”
