Dua Lipa Offends Female DJs With Self-Congratulatory Tomorrowland Post

Tomorrowland has just wrapped up it’s first weekend and it was filled with new stages and not to mention a massive stacked lineup performing which even included Steve Angello reuniting once again with Sebastian Ingrosso for a can’t miss set.

Another artist who we saw make her debut at Tomorrowland despite hesitation from dance music fans all over was Dua Lipa. As she reflected on her experience took to Twitter to express her thoughts on the incredible experience and left female DJ’s dance music fans confused and a bit insulted.

Dua Lipa had enjoyed her experience very much and made the statement that she had been the “first ever international female artist” to perform at Tomorrowland prompting some responses from Female DJ’s Alison Wonderland and Rezz.

Twitter users also took to the platform to give their thoughts and remind Dua Lipa on some the previous female artists that have had the opportunity to perform at Tomorrowland before her.

Unfortunately as mentioned by Rezz, this is something that perhaps their management should have enlightened most likely Dua Lipa‘s social media manager on prior to posting. Her Instagram post on the experience appears to have been edited to reflect first international singer rather than artist while the tweet has since been deleted.

Dua Lipa herself has not commented on the situation personally.
