Techno lovers will party anywhere. Give them a coal mine, or a castle, or literally, anything underground and they’ll go crazy! For Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) this year, they’re taking the party to one the most unexpected and entirely deserted locations the area — all for the sake dance music.
Bijlmerbajes prison is set to host three distinct parties put on by over October 18 through October 20. The setting, described as “a sinister and defunct penitentiary,” is nearby Amsterdam’s Amstel railway station, a prime location for ADE attendees.
If the location doesn’t get you, the lineup definitely will because Seth Troxler and Honey Dijon are bringing the sounds Chicago and Detroit to the famous prison to start things f right. The next night will take a dark turn, as Electric Deluxe and Dystopian promise to showcase “techno in its finest form.” Finally, Nina Kraviz and friends her label will close out the epic three-day rave.
This brings a whole new meaning to the term “prison riot.”
Tickets go on sale on September 5 at 12pm CEST.
