Now it appears that Berghain might have some competition for best rave spot in Germany. The Zollverein coal mine industrial complex is known for being a technological wonder for the mining industry. When it was opened in the mid-1800's the industrial world had never seen anything such scope. The complex would go on to become a UNESCO World Heritage site due to its impact on the energy industry.
