Hamdi has announced a four-week residency at Chicago's Cermak Hall.
House Warming will run every Friday throughout March, and promises multi-genre line-ups with guests including Taiki Nulight, Kettama, MPH, and local hero LYNY.
Oxford-born Dubstep producer Hamdi relocated to Chicago in 2024 "with the goal of immersing himself in the culture of the city" and bringing "underground" British dance sound to the birthplace of house music. Recent years have seen him make major inroads in the US, collaborating with Skrillex and Marshmello, and performing at events like EDC Vegas, Lighting In A Bottle, and Coachella, among others.
“I’ve always wanted to do this sort of four week residency and with the move to Chicago, it just felt right," said Hamdi. "[I] wanted to do something big to celebrate my arrival to such a legendary city to underground culture.
"I feel like the venue we’ve chosen and line-ups we’ve managed to pull together have the makings of something really special," he continued. "It’s also going to be a sick chance to play some stuff I don’t usually get to play and show all the sides of my musical taste. And finishing off the residency with a b2b with my new housemate LYNY is going to be a lot of fun."
