According to Brevard County Sheriff’s fice, DJ Gina Turner was arrested last night while boarding Holy Ship! for Holy Ship 10.0. She was arrested for one count possession cocaine and two counts possession another undisclosed controlled substance. Turner was arrested at 5:17PM local time at Port Canaveral where the boat was boarding with her bail set at $15,000.
This may come as a shocker to most people as Gina is well known for a hygienic lifestyle and even hosts morning yoga classes with fans aboard past Holy Ship! cruises. Turner was scheduled to perform last night from 4AM – 6AM, as well as a few other performances throughout the weekend. According to her twitter, she had a handful surprises intended for the weekend including a B2B Drum and Bass set with Mija and a Numerology Workshop scheduled for Tuesday.
She wasn’t the only one as dozens other patrons were taken into custody instead boarding the ship. The most serious charges were for drug trafficking, with some arrested for trafficking over 10 grams MDMA and some with over 28 grams cocaine. Many arrested were in the early 20s, but even some middle-aged pressionals got caught up in it.
